Border Crossings. A conversation across the border.
In 2020 a pandemic, a Presidential election, and an unusual immigration flow coming from the Southern countries, created a set of unique circumstances for the US-Mexico border towns. This project aims to preserve the memory of what happened at that moment not via news reports, but through the testimonies of women whose works and lives depend on crossing that border: Two journalists (Tijuana-San Diego); two activists (Ciudad Juárez-El Paso); and two health workers (Nogales, Sonora-Nogales, Arizona –in process).
